I’m in my third year of Uni studying TV Production and am lucky to say I’ve managed to quite a bit of OB sports camera shadowing work under my belt - due to cold emails and lot of networking. The issue now is what to do next with it. I feel like a training scheme is the way to go as I still feel like I have lots to learn before committing to full freelancing. But only a few OB companies even offer these. Does anyone have any advice on specific next steps? Or even who to email? I’ve been looking most at Timeline TV but their applications seem to open later in the academic year and this is the kind of thing I’d rather get sorted sooner rather than later. Just want to be the best possible direction for when that application stage hits before graduation 🙂 Any help is appreciated!
